We rebuilt a north Idaho stand from drone video. Aerial lidar is the next instrument.
Little Boulder Creek is live in the browser — forty-five acres, eighteen hundred trees, no lidar and no ground control. That is as far as photogrammetry takes a cruise. A university partnership that brings real aerial lidar, and the plots that would check it, is how this becomes something a forester can defend. We are looking for that lab.
How we work
Decisions tied to declared gates, not post-hoc interpretation.
Promotion and retirement decisions are pinned to pre-registered OOD criteria. Run-to-run comparability is protected with hashed exports and lineage artifacts, and method conclusions are separated from data-construction effects through paired attribution controls. The negative results here are evidence, not gaps.
